'Blast From the Past Artisan Crafts' Summer Camp, June 9-13, 2025
This kids summer art camp is from June 9-13, 2025, 10am to 3pm.
Encourage your kids to learn about other cultures through an artist’s lens as we examine a selected variety of artisan crafts from the past. During this special camp we will focus our art-making on weaving as originated from early humans, egg decoration from Ukraine and batik techniques from Indonesia and Africa. Our content will be both tactile and visually vibrant with a built-in art history component. This camp is sure to fill up quickly!
This camp is for children ages 8-13. No prior experience in art is necessary. Your child will be taken through all the necessary steps to make each project. The price of this camp includes all art supplies and materials.
Each child must bring their own sack lunch. Lunch break will be from 12pm-1pm. Weather permitting we will eat lunch outside. Please make sure your child is wearing sun screen or make sure they bring a bottle of sun screen with them.
You will receive an email from Anna Stoysich within 5 business days of your registration. Please check your spam folder if you do not see the email in your primary inbox. Summer Camp Testimonials
“It was the best camp ever! I think you should do it too!” -Kipton D., age 9
“The atmosphere and environment were perfect for my child. She has sensory issues and was never once overwhelmed. Annie and Anna were very perceptive of her needs and were able to ensure that she never felt pushed, rushed, or overstimulated. She was always very excited to go in the morning and happy when we picked her up in the afternoon. We will definitely be signing her up again next year!”- Kadi K.
“I highly recommend this camp! I sent my niece last year and it was her favorite activity of the entire summer! She’s already asked about it this year and a friend is going with her.”- Margaret M.
“We have struggled to find something our son likes doing or is excited about, however every morning he woke up early and was so excited for art camp. I have never seen him so excited for a week of camp!”- Stephanie D.
