Store policies

  • Unfortunately due to the limitations of this small business, no refunds are given at this time, only exchanges within five days of receipt.

If the artwork is damaged in shipment to you, I will refund the total amount paid by the customer.

  • Exchanges are accepted within five days of receipt of purchase. The customer is expected to pay for the return shipment and for the shipment of the new piece. Contact me for more information regarding exchanges.

  • Orders will be shipped within one week of payment. I carefully package each piece of art so that it arrives safely. I often repurpose used packing material, such as bubble wrap or boxes, for environmental reasons.

If you buy more than one piece, and the items can be shipped in one box, I will do everything possible to consolidate your order and refund significant overage in shipping charges.

Most orders are shipped via US Priority Mail. If your order is large and it is more economical to ship via UPS or FED EX I will do so and review your charges accordingly.

You will receive tracking information within 24 hours of shipping.

Anna Stoysich Ceramic Art and Paintings is not responsible for any lost and abandoned packages. In the event of a stolen package, refunds will not be provided. In the event of a returned package, shipping will not be refunded. Please ensure a secure shipping location is provided at checkout.

  • If you are nearby and would like to pick up your order, we can arrange for safe “porch-side” pickup following safe social distancing guidelines. Artwork can be picked up at my studio in Malvern, IA or a pick up point in Omaha, NE. Choose the Studio Pickup option during checkout to waive shipping costs.

Care of ceramics

  • The earthenware pottery is dishwasher safe, although I always recommend hand washing, since handmade pots are inherently less durable than industrial. It is not recommended to put earthenware pottery in the microwave because of the iron (metal) that is giving the clay its rich red color. The high iron content can damage pottery in a microwave. I fire my clay hotter than normal earthenware in order to vitrify the body and make it as durable as possible.

The wood fired pottery is dishwasher and microwave safe, unless noted on the item description in the store.

  • All ceramic work is handmade by Anna Stoysich in Malvern, Iowa; please expect to see slight variations and wobbles in each piece!
